Conveyor Belt

Problem Statement

Let's make a conveyor belt by using a motor, IR sensor, and buzzer. It will detect if a person comes near it and the buzzer will be alarmed.

Circuit Connections

Connect the positive(+ve) of the power supply board to the terminal T-1 of the push button and connect the terminal T-2 of the push button to the positive of the all LED boards.


Connect the terminal-1 of the motor to the terminal T-2 of the push button and connect the terminal-2 of the motor to the negative(-ve) of the power supply board.


Connect the positive of the power supply board to the positive(5V) of the IR sensor and connect the output(OP) of the IR sensor to the positive of the buzzer.


Connect the negative of the IR sensor and the buzzer to the negative(-ve) of the power supply board.

Now connect the battery and check for the working.

Application

Belt conveyor technology is also used in conveyor transport such as moving sidewalks or escalators, as well as on many manufacturing assembly lines. Stores often have conveyor belts at the check-out counter to move shopping items.
